Maxwell Farms showcased their talent at the 2023 South Carolina State Fair, with remarkable achievements in cattle showing and equestrian events.

The Connie Maxwell boys’ hard work and dedication paid off. Among the highlights, Tree secured first place in the Open Show division and third place in the Junior Show. Another rising star, Nate, clinched fourth place in both the Open and Junior divisions. Caleb dominated, winning first place in both Junior and Open Shows.

Bryson and Jayden also won their respective classes in the Open division and were crowned Division Champion and Reserve Division Champion for their heifers. The boys were committed, waking up early to feed, wash and blow dry the cows for the Beef Cattle Show.

The Connie Maxwell girls equestrian team’s performance was nothing short of extraordinary. Evi secured remarkable victories, claiming the first, fourth and fifth positions in her classes, while facing fierce competition from 27 other riders. Katie showcased her skills with a fifth-place finish in her highly competitive age group. Even Dana, who did not secure a placement, shared, “that was the BEST pattern I’ve ever ridden!” Emily provided unwavering support for the team even in the challenging rain.

Maxwell Farms’ achievements at the 2023 South Carolina State Fair reflect their talent and dedication and the support they have from their community. As we celebrate their victories, we look forward to the continued growth and success of these exceptional young individuals in the years to come.
