To be quite honest when I first came to Connie Maxwell Children’s Home, I felt alone. I didn’t feel loved or favored by God nor did I feel at home. After being loved and cared for by so many Christ-filled adults, I began to grow. After being poured into, I began to understand that God knew what was best for me and He had me exactly where I needed to be. Because of Connie Maxwell Children’s Home, I have met some of the most amazing people. I would not be the young woman I am today without the love and support from Connie Maxwell. I have learned that we are all favored by God and He has a plan and purpose for everything. Connie Maxwell will always be my home. Now and in the future, I plan to use my testimony to point others towards the cross. I would personally like to thank each person who has given, prayed, or donated your time to Connie Maxwell. It means more than you know!
