As she recalled her first steps into the world of theater, Theoriia shared, “I honestly didn’t know what I was getting myself into. Miss Lauren signed me up for it, and I didn’t know what this musical was about. I had no idea.” Despite her uncertainty, she dove headfirst into rehearsals, embracing the unknown with courage.
When the curtains rose, and the spotlight found her, Theoriia’s nerves melted away, replaced by the thrill of performing. “It was almost like muscle memory,” she recalled, “I just felt like, ‘Oh my goodness, this is real.'” Her voice filled the theater, carrying with it a raw emotion that captivated the audience.
Reflecting on the experience, Theoriia shared, “I just felt like I was part of something really big. I was opening up and sharing a piece of myself with everyone.” In those moments on stage, she found a sense of purpose and belonging that she hadn’t known before.
Among the whirlwind of performances, certain moments stood out to Theoriia. “I just looked into the crowd and saw the people I love, smiling ear to ear,” she reminisced. “It made a difference for me.” These moments of connection with her loved ones fueled her performance.
But singing wasn’t just about performing for Theoriia; it was a way to navigate life’s challenges. “I love music because it’s a way for me to cope with things,” she explained. “When I’m feeling down, I listen to music, and it helps me through.” Her voice became a beacon of hope, guiding her through both joyful and challenging times.
Theoriia’s dreams extend beyond the stage to a career in healthcare. Inspired by her experiences, she aspires to make a difference in people’s lives. “I want to be an RN or a PA,” she shared. “I want to work with babies.”
