DREAM ON
In 2020, Connie Maxwell Children’s Ministries embarked on a bold and ambitious 10-year strategic plan entitled A Decade of Dreams.
These DREAMS, steeped in our rich history, aim to enhance and expand our Christ-centered services to children and families through:
- Building a Healing Center to grow our understanding of trauma and its impact on child development, unite our team under one roof, integrate successful trauma-informed services in our programs, heal broken children and families more effectively, and become a resource and educational force to help other schools, churches, and organizations serve vulnerable children across the state and country.
- Reimagining Maxwell Farms as a destination for ministry, concerts, recreation, animal therapy, and leadership programs, all of which will provide an income stream that supports ministry and healing for the children in our care.
- Expanding our mission by creating a Connie Maxwell campus in the Charleston area—the only part of our state where we don’t have a presence despite a rapidly increasing population and an outsized need for services.
